Published in 2017 in collaboration with legendary skate photographer J. Grant Brittain and the Medium Festival of Photography, OFF ZINE captures the golden era of skateboarding. Featuring iconic images of Natas Kaupas, Tommy Guerrero, and Mark Gonzales, it documents how skaters adapted to the decline of skateparks in the late ‘70s and ‘80s, pioneering modern street skating. The zine celebrates the raw energy, creativity, and resilience that continue to define skateboarding’s evolution.
Measuring 5.5” x 8.5” and printed in black and white. Limited to a signed edition of 100 this 20-page zine was produced in partnership with the Medium Festival of Photography in 2017. , this project stands as a tribute to skate culture’s ingenuity and the enduring impact of Brittain’s photography.
